Every pet deserves access to veterinary care.

Right now, many people who love their pets dearly face a terrible reality: their pet needs a critical procedure or treatment, but they just can’t afford the cost. This is such a lonely and devastating position to be in – to forego non-elective treatment, or, in some cases, to euthanize. We started the Farley Foundation because we believe there must be a third option: to get help. Thanks to our generous donors, pets are getting the care they need and their owners receive a gift more precious than words.

These acts of kindness have raised more than $6 million to help over 15,000 pets since 2002.

“Thank you for allowing me to keep my best buddy without having to pick between his health, and food or electricity. You give dignity to people who have been beaten down on a regular basis. I wouldn’t be here if not for him. From the absolute bottom of my heart, thank you.”

What sets us apart

Pie chart of Farley Foundation expenses.

Because the Farley Foundation is administered by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association, its overhead costs are very low. That means that more of every donor dollar goes towards assisting pets and pet owners in need.

Because love matters

Be their hero.

When you donate to the Farley Foundation, you change two lives: the life of a real pet and the life of their owner. You’re helping to preserve and protect a bond of love and devotion, and giving hope to those who depend the most on their pets for love and companionship.

“I just want to say thank you for all your support regarding my dog’s dental surgery. I rescued Chichi from a very neglected home and she’s my baby. I’m disabled and really appreciate the foundation’s help.”

“When I found out my dog Lexxi needed surgery, I was so stressed. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do because I’m on a limited income. I’m forever thankful to the Farley Foundation for the amazing work it does and for allowing my best friend to have the surgery she needed.
